GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, these General Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions between the Obereggen Ski & Snowboard School and the customer. The object of the company is the operation of a ski & snowboard school. This includes in particular services such as teaching the skills and knowledge of snow sports, as well as guiding and accompanying snow sports.

Bookings paid for online are considered firm, confirmed bookings.

The ski pass and liability insurance are not included in the prices for lessons.

All information - in particular price lists of the Obereggen Ski & Snowboard School on the Internet, in brochures, adverts or other information media - are non-binding for the Obereggen Ski & Snowboard School. The Obereggen Ski & Snowboard School reserves the right to make changes at any time.

If the participant makes registrations for other people (e.g. children, friends etc.), he/she is responsible for their contractual obligations as for his/her own obligations.

The Obereggen Ski & Snowboard School is not liable for any accidents during the lessons.

Booking and deposit:

Private lessons and group courses can generally be booked via online shop or e-mail. When making a reservation, the customer must pay a deposit within the communicated deadline.

Non-payment for lessons does NOT constitute cancellation, therefore the cancellation policy applies:

Payment and booking voucher:

Upon payment for the reserved services, the customer will receive a booking voucher, which must be presented to the ski or snowboard instructor. Only this voucher authorizes participation in our services.
The lessons which are booked directly at the office of the Ski & Snowboard School Obereggen must be paid immediately.

Duration of lessons/group courses:

Group courses end 10 minutes before the scheduled time to guarantee a smooth flow for parents and ski instructors.

Cancellation, interruption or refunds of booked services:

For cancellations up to 7 days before the start of the lesson, the customer will receive a full refund of their deposit or the total amount paid, less a processing fee of €10.
For cancellations up to 2 days before the start of the course, the total amount for the first lesson per booked ski instructor plus €10 administration costs will be retained.
For cancellation within 1 day before the start of the course, there is NO entitlement to a refund.

Cancellation in case of force majeure:

In the event of force majeure (e.g. illness, accident), booked lessons may be cancelled and the customer will receive a full refund, less a €10 administration fee, for the services not enjoyed, upon SUBMISSION OF A DOCTOR'S MEDICAL ATTEST.

In principle, our ski and snowboard instructors teach in all weathers. Booked lessons can only be cancelled if the lifts stop operating or if the ski or snowboard instructor deems it unreasonable to continue with the lesson. In this case, 100% of the non-transacted lessons will be refunded.
Reasons for exclusion for a refund: The Obereggen Ski & Snowboard School does not provide refunds in the following cases:

  • cancellations at short notice - 1 day before the start of the lesson
  • cancellations at short notice due to illness/accident WITHOUT presentation of a medical attest
  • if the customer is late
  • if the services offered are not satisfactory
  • lessons booked on the wrong date and/or booking confirmation not checked.
